HellRaisers have beaten AGO with a convincing 2-0 score, while OpTic had to beat 3DMAX on three maps to book their spot at the DreamHack Masters Stockholm.
The first upper bracket semi-final saw HellRaisers take on AGO, and it all started on the latter's map pick, Inferno. But it was the European mixture who started things off on the right foot with a dominant first half, 12-3, and then by closing out the map fairly quickly, 16-6, as Vladyslav "bondik" Nechyporchuk led the way with an impressive 1.77 rating.
woxic was on fire on Inferno
If the Polish side had a bad performance on Inferno, on Dust2 it was even worse. On the back of Özgür "woxic" Eker's unbelievable 3.21 rating, HellRaisers made light work of AGO to finish things off with a convincing 16-2 victory.

Later on, 3DMAX and OpTic met in the second upper bracket semi-final. The series kicked off on the Frenchmen's map pick, Inferno, and they got off to a 7-3 lead as their opponents could not follow up on any round win. The Danes reduced the deficit to a sole round by half-time, however, and went on to lock down the map after losing just three more rounds to close it out 16-10.
Next up was Train, OpTic's map pick. It began with OpTic securing their CT pistol and following that up with three more rounds, but 3DMAX were the better side and got to half-time with an 8-7 lead. With Bryan "Maka" Canda and David "Davidp" Prins spearheading their team's run with a 1.31 and 1.28 rating, respectively, 3DMAX took the series to a third map with a 16-11 win.
Overpass was the polar opposite of the previous maps as OpTic were simply in charge, losing just two rounds before half-time. Jakob "JUGi" Hansen and co. then kept crushing their opponents' hopes, closing out the map with a dominant 16-3 victory that saw the 21-year-old top the scoreboard with a 2.19 rating.
