The group draw for Northern Arena has taken place, with the eight participating teams having been drawn into two groups.

This weekend, Toronto will stage an invitational CS:GO tournament called Northern Arena, to be held inside the Mattamy Athletic center as part of the Canadian Videogame Awards.

Even without high-flyers such as Cloud9, Team Liquid or Luminosity, the event is still expected to provide quality entertainment as teams like CLG, compLexity and Method will square off for the lion's share of a $20,000 prize pool.
